Joan has always been interested in making and designing her own clothes and accessories. She started selling some of her creations to classmates when she was still in high school. So, when it came time for her to start her business, she came up with her own clothing line, Koo, which she started selling online on her website, http://www.kooclothings.com. Her line is now available at Sueño and the Yellow Door Boutique in Makati and Peppered Cherry in Serendra. “Why work for someone else if you can work for yourself?” says Joan on why she decided to become an entrepreneur.
